The children's bicycle industry in Pingxiang Country, Hebei Province, originated from the robust bicycle parts manufacturing sector that flourished in the 1980s. After four decades of accumulation and transformation, it has now evolved into China's largest and most comprehensively integrated production base for children's bicycles. The industry generates annual sales revenue exceeding RMB 30 billion, with an annual output of 145 million of children's bicycles, bicycles, and electric ride-on toys, accounting for approximately 50% of the domestic market share and over 40% of the international market share. Its products are exported to more than 60 countries and regions worldwide. The county is home to over 2,600 enterprises related to children's bicycles, employing 120,000 people. It has been awarded 16 national-level titles, including "China's Capital of Children's Bicycles",forming a healthy industrial ecosystem characterized by "core-driven development, park-based agglomeration and county-wide coordination".
